Donner Party Mountain Runners Newbie Run

Donner Party Mountain Runners Newbie Runs are Back!

Are you new to running and don’t know where to start? Want to meet some new running buddies? Looking for new trails? This is the event for you!

Join TMS ambassador Steve Buelna and the Donner Party Mountain Runners crew for this fun group introductory run on a trail, specifically designed for a beginning/mellow runner. The primary focus for these runs is to offer an inviting run option that can help to get newer runners stoked on running.

What to bring?

A positive mental attitude and your running shoes if you want! We will have demo shoes at each event if you are looking to try something new, or happen to forget your shoes ;) If you have a watch and a water bottle, you can bring that too. Please arrive at 5:15 if you are planning on using demo shoes and be laced up and ready to run at 6:00 PM sharp!  Also, please note that this is a DPMR sponsored group run subject to the DPMR Code of Conduct, so please leave furry friends at home. If you have the time, hang out afterward to socialize over beverages (beverages compliments of DPMR).

Location

Olympic Valley paved bike path. Meet at the ball fields/playground parking lot just off Olympic Valley Road and highway 89. https://goo.gl/maps/1d7v1MvgJXDeUoX76

This week’s run will feature demo shoes from Altra!

Donner Party Mountain Runners is a grassroots non-profit running club with a mission to inform, inspire, and connect mountain runners in Truckee-Tahoe. The Newbie Run Club is free to members. Join online today!

We are excited to get to run with all of you and the DPMR crew followed by some refreshing and well deserved beverages afterward. See you there
