Boldly Went Truckee: Live Adventure Stories
“I truly thought I was about to die.”
“You should have seen the place!”
“I’ll never forget that day.”
“The fish was this big!”
“At that exact moment, a Bald Eagle flew out of the Orca’s mouth.”
Storytelling is one of the oldest human pastimes, and the wildest stories tend to live on the longest. Whether joyful or painful, successes or failures, they leave a different impression when told in person than when read or watched on screen. Join us for an evening of adventure stories told by Truckee/Tahoe locals on Tuesday, March 6, at Tahoe Mountain Sports in Truckee’s Safeway shopping center.
Boldly Went is a traveling show that gets diverse groups of athletes into a room and gives them opportunities to share their impactful outdoor adventure stories in front of the crowd. Boldly Went records the stories and puts them into their weekly podcast. This is a great way to discover the awesome adventurers who are living right next to us. It’s amazing to see what happens when you give different athletes an equal platform to share from!
Come Tell Your Story
Come prepared to tell your story and put your name in the hat. Storytellers will be randomly selected from the audience and have 10 minutes to tell their story.
