Sugar Bowl Uphiller - Saturday, April 20th, 2024
Join us for 6 hours of fun-filled uphill at Sugar Bowl! From 8:30am-2:30pm, find out how many human-powered laps you can ski tour up from the base of Sugar Bowl to the top of Mount Lincoln. The current course record is 8 laps (11,200 vertical!) One lap or ten, come feel the burn in our annual fundraiser for Sierra Avalanche Center.
Set your own pace and start skinning up the designated route to the summit of Lincoln. At the top and bottom, check in with the race attendant to log your lap. When you need a break from all skinning, hang out with us at the pop up bars at the summit of Lincoln or the Judah Lodge. We’ll have live music, beverages, and lots of good vibes.
A valid season pass or uphill ticket is required to participate. Non-passholders may register for $50 (includes an uphill ticket for the day.) Season Passholders may register for $25.
There's no timing for this race, but you'll be competing for raffle tickets to win one of our famous "Mystery Box" prizes. Find out who is brave enough to gamble their winnings and choose the mystery box containing the new pair of skis... but be warned, there are just as many whammy prizes hidden in the mix.
