SMC Snow Anchor

• Used as a deadman-style anchor, the SMC Snow Fluke offers added security in everything from our local ''Cascade Crud'' to Utah's world-famous powder.
• Like on SMC's ''I Pickets'' a ''natural finish'' results in a more secure placement than comparable flukes that are powder-coated or anodized.
• A 1/8'' diameter steel cable harness attachment angle enables the anchor to dive deeper when loaded, piling up snow ahead of it as it sets into place while the holes provide a good bite on the snow.
• SMC Snow Flukes often double as an emergency digging tool, or tent anchor and work great in sand if you are headed to the lake, river or beach instead of the mountain!
• Bigger is sometimes better so if you want the maximum holding power in extreme conditions or have a condo-sized mountaineering tent, then the large snow fluke may be your best choice.
