I have been kiting for a long time... and now ignitiating my girlfriend and son with this trainer kite.
PROS
The kite comes ready to use right out of the bag.
Super simple to fly - not like old school stuff.
Very durable so you can simply "learn".
3.5M may be a little much for learners but so perfect for light winds (up to 15 MPH for learning).
Great emergency kite that packs small in your bag for those high winds.
I have actually used it myself during 30-40MPH to get back home.
CONS:
The bar doesn't come with harness straps - so I simply built my own with a pulley system.
The bag is worthless - I place a strap around it instead.
The leash and bag are somwhat "cheap" so I replaced the leash for high winds.
Overall and aside from the small issues above, you will love this kite. My girlfriend and son took 5 minutes to be flying and in control.
It introduced them to kiting, and they are fully enjoying kiting.
Personally, this kite will come along in my bag for all trip.

I am new to kiting, so take my advice however you want, but the new 3 line Ozone Imp trainer kite is definetly the way to go. I struggled for awhile with my first trainer kite trying to fly by myself and relaunching. Then I called TMS, and the guys here turned me on to the Imp trainer with 3 lines and a super easy relaunch. They really knew their stuff and I was impressed with their information so I bought the 2.5m. I am so happy I bought it because my training sessions are so much better and I am so much less frustrated. Thanks TMS, you rule!
