I've worn the PETZL Dionysis for almost 10 years now and finally needed to replace it. First thing is I noticed that the price of Harnesses got expensive from $30-$50 towards the $50-$90 range for something decent. I've been wearing other MAMMUT products and decided to try this Harness for only $37.00. The Focus not only replaced my Dionysis sit harness it made me realize that harness technology improved over the years. Out of the box (yes, this one comes in a " shoe box" for some reason) the Focus was alittle stiff during my first day out on the crags, but after a few descents and rappels it loosened up and became very comfy. One thing I loved is the small details that MAMMUT paid when making it. The buckles and clips are all "finger-sized" and located in the right places and after a few times you could easily put this on without looking. I also loved how the waist padded belt is angled to match the contour of the hips (so that the back is high above the butt and the front is low where it meets the caribiner loop). I haven't seen that design on other harnesses and its one of those things that once you experience it, you wonder what the hell you were doing before. This actually makes the harness safer as well because newbies won't make a mistake of setting the harness too low or below the waist.
My only gripe, and its a small one, is the buttstrap top-clip-in is a miniscule hook and not a clip and the thing is impossible to connect to the miniscule loop on the back of the belt after you put the harness on.
