Just took this lantern for a weekend at the Benson hut up on the Sierra Nevada crest. It lit up the entire first floor of the hut all weekend long. The cabin was about 25x25 ft. and the batteries did not fade at all after about 15 hours of use throughout 2 nights. The light is a non glaring led that projects widely without blinding you or anybody else.
Highly reccommended.
