The Ranch Disc Golf Course in Reno
In the high Nevada desert, dirt and Sagebrush rule the land and winds can get tricky.
Wide open spaces, a good range of hole distances, and elevation changes between holes add to the fun...and the walking. A lack of trees makes this course easier for beginners. Wear pants to protect your legs from the Sagebrush - you'll undoubtedly find yourself sifting through it in search of discs. For this course, you'll want a strong distance driver
to connect the dots between long holes.
To get to The Ranch, travel east on I-80 from Tahoe and take Exit 13 at downtown Reno/Virginia St. Hook a left to Rancho San Rafael Park at the Reno Sports Complex.
