Comments: Bought this guy for winter of 08/09, but did not get on the snow until 09/10. Wahoo! As a beginner with no local instruction available, I've had no problem, not so much as a face plant (yet) and no panic releases. The kite is light, sheds snow easily, is nicely constructed, easy to handle. Controls are intuitive, safety features obvious. Works fine with a climbing harness. The open fields of Teton Basin are at my doorstep. I highly recommend How to Snowkite Vol.1 Basics dvd. Watch again and again and absorb. It made the learning fun, not frustrating. As a climber, skier, boarder etc. the kite is a natural progression in enjoying this beatiful winter area. Wind is now celebrated, not cursed. Now the hiss of the snow beneath my skis doesn't require a hill.
