Zephyr Cove Disc Golf
Big elevation gain and amazing lake views make this Zephyr Cove course memorable.
This course has probably the best lake views of all courses in the area. Another challenging, hilly and wooded course that hosts an annual tournament yet plays relatively short. It also has significant elevation gains and uphill shots on the front nine while the back nine plays mostly downhill. A lot of the underbrush and manzanita have recently been removed so this one is a little more friendly to beginners and those that like to play in shorts. Boulders and rock piles come into play on occasion, and can add some difficulty to short game. Trees are not as dense here as at some other Tahoe courses, but a variety of shots are still required. You'll want accurate distance drivers.
To get to the Zephyr Cove Disc Golf Course, take Highway 50 to Zephyr Cove, then head south at the fire station on Warrior Way. The park is down on your right. Hole 1 is at the back of the parking lot, behind the baseball fields and picnic area.
