Grass Lake

Location: Take Highway 88 from South Lake Tahoe towards Kirkwood. Grass Lake is just before Luther Pass on Highway 88.
Level: Beginner to Expert
Terrain description: Frozen alpine lake/wetland

A great high alpine lake next to the road just 15 minutes out of South Lake Tahoe. The snowkiting here is great when the conditions line up. Be careful in the spring and warmer weather as this melts out quickly.
