The Summit Folding Bike Baskets are super functional, modern looking, and easy to use. I've had them on my mt. bike for 2 years now and they are great for carrying groceries, communting to work, and running errands - I can carry everything I need. When I don't need them they fold up neatly. I recently saw basket liners for them and want to get some so I can carry smaller things.

I bought one of these baskets about 13 years ago for my first Yorkshire Terrier to ride in. And it is still in excellent condition. I purchased it at my local bike store, which has since gone out of business, as the owners retired. The basket is very safe and sturdy for a 6 pound dog to ride in. In the winter I use a soft plastic padded lunch box as a liner. I got one that fit perfectly. In the summer I just use a small piece of thin plywood that we padded for the \floor\" of the basket. My yorkie wears a harness and is clipped into the basket on 2 sides. She is safe, can not jump out, and she loves to go \"bye bye onna bike\" Sometimes she stands up when we peddle fast at Revere Beach on the sidewalk. And when she gets tired she lays down and takes a nap. You should advertise this basket and the rack, on dog apparal web sites. I just ordered 2 new baskets in black for our new comfort hybred bikes. But I will still use the old baskets on our old mountain bikes.

I was excited to get these baskets only to realize they are not easy to attached to my rack. My rack is wider than the hardware provided. Also the 'clip' that holds the basket when it is folded does not fit into anything. I am hugely disappointed and will send them back. They are definitely not 'user friendly' in my opinion1
