About Kings Beach
Kings Beach was named after card shark Joe King, who won the town site from George Whittell. Set against a vibrant blend of colors, flavors and textures Kings Beach is kick-back.

It is rightfully known as the north shore's banana belt, as it stands in the sun's path from early morning into the p.m. As if basking under the sun's glow were not enough, this mountain/beach town throws a sandy welcome to all with a signature downtown public beach.

Hip shops, restaurants, side-street vendors - all true to their cultural heritage – and down-home Lake Tahoe lodging plus a host of human characters give the town an indescribable cool.

North Tahoe Regional Park
North Tahoe Regional Park is located one mile west of Highway 267 and one mile north of Highway 28 in Tahoe Vista. The Regional Park encompasses 124 acres of predominantly active recreational activities. Found within the Regional Park are five night-lighted tennis courts, a disc golf course, several athletic fields, basketball, handball and sand volleyball courts. Hiking trails wind throughout the Regional Park and include and 18 station fitness par course and a self-guided nature trail and a paved bike path for access to National Forest land or Highway 267.
