Comments: This pack has great features at any price much less $50 less than most packs. Compresses loads really well, carries skis or board, multiple compartment and a good bladder bag for hydration.

Comments: This is one solid bag, having said that though, it is a bit heavy for its size, but that means only the most durable components were used. its got huuuuge zippers, which means its going to have a solid zip that wont come undone or break. the wet/dry pockets are perfect too, my shovel and probe fit perfectly in the outer pocket. the one thing i dont get about the bag, is that if the outermost pocket is the wet one, why would it have all the small pockets for your stuff in it?
it is summer time when im writing this review, so ive got no snow time with it, but in terms of awesome bags, this or the dakine heli pro are my two go to bags. either of which will take a beating and then some. btw, the helmet keeper is AWESOME.

Comments: I used this pack in hokkaida, Japan while it was snowing sideways. It was comfortable and held all my gear. My snowboard or snowshoes were securely held with no problems. This is my first bag for backcountry travel and I love it.
Pack for back country snow adventures

Comments: I purchased this pack for running the Imperial Challenge in Breck, and for general backcountry adventures in the winter time.
Overall, this is a great pack for winter sports. Attaching skis, snowboard, or snowshoes is easy and simple. This pack is well designed with wear resistant materials and comfortable to wear for long periods of time even with heavier loads of equipment. There are is plenty or storage space for packing the essentials along with a few creature comforts.
The downside to this pack is that it is heavier than most. This is probably due to everything Deuter put into it making it comfortable. Thats the only trade-off/downside to this pack.
I'd certainly recommend this pack to friends, but note the heavier weight. If you're looking for the lightest pack possible, I'd go with something else, perhaps an Osprey.
Not just for wintersports!

Comments: I travel a lot and I bought this backpack as my carryon. Its got a lot of space and plenty of storage compartments. The rear zipper gives great access to the main compartment. The removable waist belt is a great feature when using this backpack for day trips. I'm very pleased with the overall quality of pack; it seems very well made (first time Deuter buyer).

Q: How much weight does this bag support?
Does the torso adjust to fit a 5'4" female?
Will a pair of ski boots & a helmet fit inside the backpack, and if so, will there be any room left for lunch, clothes to layer, etc?
Lastly, what water storage unit is compatible with this backpack (I don't believe this comes with a bladder)?
Answered by Greyson, March 6, 2012 at 12:56:06 PM ESTA: This won't likely fit you at 5'4" unfortunately. It will carry up to 30 lbs. This will not fit ski boots, and the helmet carry system is on the outside of the pack. Any reservoir we carry (Deuter, Platypus, CamelBak, Osprey) up to 3 liters will fit in this pack. http://www.tahoemountainsports.com/product/deuter-streamer3l/deuter
Answered by Todd, April 16, 2012 at 09:02:07 PM EDTA: This pack will support up to about 20 pounds. We recommend the Freerider 28SL for a female of your size.
