The free pivot is nothing to be taken lightly. If you telemark, you should already have a free pivot binding, if you don't, get one! I love the BD 01. In classic Black Diamond style, it is made of quality parts and it doesn't break like some others I have tried (G3). I use these on my biggest pow ski, so I know they are tough. Get some!
